- Appearance -

Before Lufasu became one of the many trapped denizens of Gaia, she appeared as a rather tall woman, standing about 182 centimeters tall. Her somewhat curvy, semi-athletic body bore no obvious flaws to a casual observer, though on closer inspection people would find out that she was cursed with rather large amount of scares on various parts of her body. Before the Apocalypse, her hair was of a nice, chestnut brown color, usually worn in a casual manner, falling all the way to her back, some bangs falling into her face, loose locks of hair falling into the way of her emerald green eyes when she wasn't wearing glasses.

In the game of Gaia, Lufasu's character was similar to her own body in more than one way. Her body only a bit taller, standing at about 190 centimeters, her figure was polished into absolute perfection, body which would be, something that everyone would like to look at. Curvy, elegant figure, which wasn't too big nor too small in any place, truly something more than one would envy. Her soft, elegant facial features are surrounded by rich, soft, platinum-blonde, almost white, hair which reaches all the way to the rear of her body. As a crown jewel of those features, Lufasu bears two deep, garnet colored eyes. But probably the most characteristic feature Lufasu bears are two big, pure black wings which are a rarity among the Enoch, causing her silhouette to be easily recognized, even from afar.

Before Lufasu was so suddenly introduced to her new life within Gaia, her clothes could wary quite a lot. During her free time it would be comfortable hoodies and pleated skirts with thigh-highs, during official occasions it would be a suit jacket, etc. In the game itself, Lufasu's equipment is usually something along the lines of a long cloak, dress, gem adorned circlet. Lufasu almost never wears armor, even if she is able to do so. Her posture and movement feel trained and elegant, inspiring respect and awe, result of the healthy life she lived before Gaia.



- Personality -

If Lufasu's figure looked nothing short of awe inspiring or outright snobby, her tone of voice just seems to complement it, and its owner definitely knows how to use it. The melodic t times it can be haughty, arrogant sounding... At time Lufasu chooses gentle, wise sounding sound of voice. For some reason though, Lufasu noticed that her tone of voice seems to naturally lean to the haughty, arrogant tone, even if she is trying to avoid it, almost as if the character she had created was affecting her own behavior.

What Lufasu displays to the rest world is a proud, confident face, any emotions or thoughts she might have hidden under a flawless mask of confidence and fake arrogance. She is dangerously intelligent and she values this as her sharpest blade. Good knack on people combined with a strong moral code can sometimes make her an absolute pain to be around, but if one were to befriend her they wouldn't find an ally more stalwart than her.

She absolutely despises discrimination, lack of free will, denial of one's own abilities, self-pity and doubts and doesn't mind showing it. A result of the life she had lived before... and even a way she decided to live as Lufasu. The way she is now she would trample over people's lives if it was something she would do to uphold her own moral code, against all the odds she may face. When she sets a goal for herself, Lufasu is capable of trampling anything that stands in her path, be it enemies, people, friends, or even the world itself.


- Biography -

Even in the old world Lufasu, living under the name of Evelyn, was a very unique person. Born into a middle-class family of intellectuals with rich history, she, the eldest child, was expected to bear the weight of the future ever since she breathed for the first time. But there was a slight problem... she was a girl. While her mother loved her and cared for her, her father always treated her as a substitute for a boy. This is something what Lufasu saw as her first failure for long portion of her life.

In despite of that, she decided to live up to the crushing expectations, pushing her way forwards, striving for the very top of any place where she went... but then misfortune struck her again. Envy, the fact that she was different... or perhaps even just normal malice. She was hated by the other kids, bullied from the very start. But she decided to just clench her teeth and march on. You have to live up to the expectations. You can't bother yourself with what they do. That is what she told herself at all times. She thought it would stop... but it did not.

Lufasu was stronger, smarter, she had better results. Why did she have to suffer? Those were questions she asked herself at all times. Discrimination, hate and envy. They made her hate her own gifts. She hated her height because of which she was called 'giraffe'. She hated her own intellect which made people laugh at her for 'studying too hard'. She hated her good looks which made the other girls avoid her. She hated petty human nature which made people jump onto the bullying bandwagon.

But in her early teens, she finally found a perfect world.

The world of games and roleplaying where she could be anything she wanted! The unlimited possibilities! She could finally talk freely in a world where her moral values were something people admired! She could be cute, short girl which didn't have any of the problems she faced! Noone had expectations! She just did what she wanted to do! Why? Why was it so different from the real one? It left her with bittersweet feelings.

And that was when Lufasu realized that she can use her intellect to manipulate others, taking the grey path which she saw, leading to the bright shining castle made from ideals. She vowed to herself to create the perfect world she wanted to see in real life. First she observed people in the games and she brought her knowledge to the real world. She manipulated and lied, she threatened and persuaded... and slowly but surely she managed to destroy the social life of the people that bullied her. And not just those, she progressed to destroying any and all discrimination at the school where she studied. Finally, for once in her life, she wouldn't be just working for herself, she could erase the misery of others too.

And after that? She decided to lead a fairly normal life. After death of her father, she decided to study languages and psychology at Oxford university. And she excelled. Day after day she went deeper into her studies, gaming casually on the side. And then, at one point, she completely stopped. She decided once more, to go into a place where she could help the most, deciding for military psychology, unusual field of study where she thought, help was needed the most. She traveled the world, ending up aboard a warship for a long amount of time... before it all ended.

One day she saw a game that caught her interest in her free time. And that was Gaia.

She looked over the classes and races, choosing the angel-like race of Enoch in combination with the shaman class which seemed to have rather interesting features to her, she wrote down a character backstory which she wanted to roleplay within the game (even if it wasn't very original and it was somewhat based on her own life) and then delved deep into character customization. Cutting down on sleep, she decided to create the perfect character. And since it was a game, for once she could use the things she hated about herself and polish them to perfection. On a screen it didn't look that bad after all. Lufasu was a creation of many hours of fine-tuning even the slightest details, resulting in the majestic looking Enoch shaman which she christened Lufasu.

And then... Everything faded into white.

Auto-Attack
A skill that controls the user's body and allows them to automatically target a monster and attempt to basic attack. A skill that controls the user's body and allows them to automatically target a monster and attempt to basic attack. Auto-attack will do a constant chain of attacks so that the total DPS is roughly the same as dealing minor damage once a second. For example, a heavy weapon will do slower but stronger attacks, while a player wielding two daggers will do faster, less damaging attacks.
Any skills or movements that the user may manually perform will take priority over this skill, but the system will generally try to aim for an accurate hit.

It was a staple among players in the original Gaia Reborn game, but since the Apocalypse, its use has taken a drastic drop. Manual basic attacks allow for much more fluid and precise control of attacks, and as such, the skill has barely been used by Adventurers since then. It does, however, allow for people who are not proficient with their weapon of choice to be able to reliably hit their target.
Passively, the player can also delay their next attack to increase the basic attack’s power by performing what’s known as an “empowered attack”. Each second used to charge an attack increases the damage dealt by 20%, up to a maximum of 100% at 5 seconds.

Roads to Romalia
A skill that can be found prominently on the player’s interface. Roads to Romalia allows a player to teleport back to Romalia from any city or town with a cathedral. Activating it causes the user to channel for five seconds, restricting them from doing anything until this cast time is done. If they choose to make any other action or are hit by an attack, Roads to Romalia is interrupted and put on a 1 minute cooldown. Because teleporting in this way to one’s home city essentially breaks them down into raw energy, it is extremely taxing to players after the Apocalypse, and repeated use in a short span can inflict mental and physical strains.

Interface Control
Even after the Apocalypse, players have kept the ability to use their interfaces. When mentally called upon, the interface hovers slightly in front of them, visible only to themselves and is slightly transparent. It can be interacted with by touch of the fingertips or mentally. The interface allows players to access their party list, friend list, guild settings, crafting list and many other menus. Friend invites can only be sent in a face-to-face meeting, and the same goes for party invites. However, a friend can be added to a party regardless of where they are. Additionally, an Adventurer can talk to friends or party members through telepathy, by pressing one finger to their ear after dialing them. This causes words said to be spoken into their mind rather than out loud.

Arcane Alphabet
The user’s fingertips will leave arcane ink on any surface they brush over. The color of this ink is cyan by default, but it can be customised with a RGB slider. Additionally, the user may stamp down pre-written messages by selecting one out of ten customizable messages in their interface and pushing their palm down like a stamp. The user chooses how much mana they pay for each stroke with higher costs allowing for the arcane ink to last up to a week.

Forward Stride
The user steps forward and stabs with their melee weapon, dealing below-average damage. This stab will fire a small dart-shaped aura projectile up to 10m, dealing minor damage point-blank, strengthening up to below-average at max range. Proper use of this skill allows melee classes to hit hard-to-reach weak points or knock over faraway objects.
1.5s animation time, 20s cooldown. Low mana cost.

Upheaval
The user takes a firm step forward as they raise their feet, surrounded by a faint yellow glow. They then perform a powerful forward kick, driving their sole into the enemy and upon contact dealing minor damage. The enemy is then knocked back up to 2m. Being knocked back into an object causes them and the object to take an additional minor amount of damage. This skill has the unique ability to be activated and performed during the animation time of another skill, making it essential for melee classes that seek to mix-up their combat.

Barrier Skills
The Shaman is the only healer class which focuses on casting preemptive barriers instead of reactive heals. All skills with “barrier” in their name are considered Barrier Skills. All Barrier Skills that feature no maximum duration in their description shatter after 15s or after the first attack that hits them. Additionally, Barrier Skills negate any negative status effects of the attacks they block should they shatter on impact. Should the Barrier Skill have a predetermined duration it only reduces the duration of negative status effects by 20%.

Summon Spirit
As a spirit medium with the ability to communicate with the dead, one spirit has taken a liking to them and will heed their call. All spirits come in the form of a humanoid resembling one of the many races. This spirit’s physical appearance symbolizes the Shaman’s true self, but will always be small enough to fit on their shoulder. Also referred to as “holy mascots”, these beings do not serve any particular purpose, however there is a chance that the spirit will sacrifice itself for their master to prevent them from suffering an otherwise mortal blow. This chance increases depending on the spirit’s relationship with their master. After the Apocalypse spirits were commonly used as scouts, messengers and carriers of small items alike or simply as little helpers in the household. Should the spirit have sacrificed itself or died via some other means, the cooldown expands to 24 hours.
2s cast time, 10s cooldown. Average mana cost.

Weapons of the Ritual
The Shaman’s weapons serve as shelters for homeless souls, which guide their hands. Therefore 10% of the shaman’s damage inflicted by their weapons is converted to Spirit damage which targets Magic Defense. It is especially effective against users of the dark arts or the undead.

Dark Assimilation
The Shaman curses a target within a range of 20m. Wrathful spirits of the afterworld will constantly try to pull the target into their realm, inflicting a 5s average Curse. 20% of the damage this Curse deals is converted into mana for the Shaman. Should the enemy die while this Curse is still active, the Shaman will receive an additional minor amount of mana.
1s cast time, 15s cooldown. Low mana cost.

Thanatophobia
The Shaman summons a greater spirit inside of any enemy within 15 meters. This spirit attacks the target’s soul, Inflicting a strong Curse for 7s. Additionally, the target is inflicted with Thanatophobia, the fear of death, for 7s. Should another enemy die within 10m of the suffering target, or should the target’s health drop below 20% of their maximum Health, it will be stunned in Terror for 5s.
0.5s cast time, 45s cooldown. Above-average mana cost.

Icarian Blessing
While the Enoch are a winged race, bearing impressive angelic wings on their backs, it is a part of the body that the Adventurers are not used to possessing, and while the Enochlian People of The Land have mastered their feathered appendages, the Adventurers have merely learned to control them on a basic level so as to prevent their wings from knocking things over.
Enochlian Adventurers are able to open and close their wings at will, but they are incapable of flight, only allowing for gliding; as such, Enochlian Adventurers take an intense reduction in fall damage and can glide for limited distances.
